About Prof Alex Brown 

Alex is a proud member of the Yuin Nation with family connections on the far south coast of NSW. He is an internationally acclaimed Aboriginal clinician and researcher who has dedicated his career to Aboriginal health. He is the Professor of Indigenous Genomics at The Kids Research Institute Australia and The Australian National University (ANU).

He is also the Director of the National Centre of Indigenous Genomics at ANU. Alex leads the Australian Alliance for Indigenous Genomics (ALIGN), a national network aiming to deliver equity and benefit to Indigenous Australians through genomics.
