Coonamble Aboriginal Health Service (CAHS) opened in Coonamble NSW in August, 2007 as a result of an initiative by a number of local Aboriginal community members and Elders who recognised the need for an Aboriginal community controlled health service (ACCHS).
CAHS operates out of its modern and purpose built premises in Tooloon Street Coonamble which were previously utilised as a supermarket, a bottle shop and more recently a government office complex.
