WSU Dubbo Workshop

2 May 2017 to 3 May 2017 (9:00 am - 2:00 am) Cattleman's Country Motor Inn & Serviced Apartments  WSU (Workforce Support Unit)

THE SEWB WSU (Social Emotional Well-being Workforce Support Unit) has various tasks, including training and supporting SEWB and AOD workers, facilitating, networking, collecting data to determine workforce needs and developing resources to meet these needs. WHO SHOULD ATTEND SEWB Aboriginal health workers, ACCHS, LHD, NGO Alcohol and other drugs (AOD) Workers, Mental Health (MH), Bringing them home (BTH) SEWB Program mangers WORKSHOP AIMS To provide a networking opportunity for SEWB, AOD and Mental Health workers To strengthen existing relationships and build new partnerships To discuss common challenges within the network Engage with a range of regional stakeholders and provide delegates with relevant updates Identify training needs of workers and provide professional development opportunities. Hearing Health Dubbo Workshop

This workshop aims to build networks and strengthen partnerships across the hearing health workforce. The agenda will include opportunities to hear from each other about successful programs and activities in the hearing health space. Followed by group discussions on gaps and needs across the spectrum of hearing health. There will be training and upskilling on tympanometry to detect ear disease (otitis media) in children. Lunch and afternoon tea will be provided for all workshop attendees.
