Duties and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for delivering and assisting in development of education resources for nationally accredited vocational Training Package qualifications through a blended learning approach that includes residential block sessions, tutorial support, e-learning support and assessment for identified staff servicing Aboriginal Communities in either Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHSs) or other relevant health and community service settings.

Specifically you will be expected to provide teaching support assessment and resource development to support and assess students undertaking certain qualifications.

We are looking for educators and teachers with a clinical background. 


About the Organisation 

The Aboriginal Health College is the vocational education body within the Aboriginal Health & Medical Research Council of New South Wales (AH&MRC) whose primary aim is to service the vocational educational requirements of the AHMRC’s Member Services.

The Aboriginal Health & Medical Research Council of NSW is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) providing nationally accredited and recognised vocational qualifications in areas such as Aboriginal Health Work; Sexual Health; Alcohol and Other Drug Work; Social and Emotional Wellbeing; Dual Diagnosis; Management; Governance. The Aboriginal Health College also offers short courses designed to address specific workplace related competencies; workforce development and cultural needs.
